What this policy covers
This policy describes the WYN Cricket Android app and the website at wyncricket.com. WYN Cricket provides live cricket scores, fixtures, news, commentary, rankings, notifications, and related app features. The website needs no account and does not provide account sign-in.
Data the app processes
Approximate location
Network requests include an IP address. Our systems and service providers may use it to derive a country, region, or city for content rights, analytics, advertising, security, and compliance. The app does not request precise-location permission.
App interactions
We process actions such as sessions, screens viewed, matches and tabs opened, feature use, notification actions, referrals, ad events, follows, and prediction picks to operate and improve the service.
In-app search history
Search terms and related interaction data may be sent to our backend for analytics and product improvement.
Crash logs and Diagnostics
Crash reports, performance information, device state, and technical diagnostics help us detect faults and keep WYN Cricket reliable.
Device or other IDs
The app and its service providers process installation identifiers, notification tokens, analytics identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted, and integrity signals for app functionality, communications, analytics, advertising, and fraud prevention.
Service providers and sharing
WYN Cricket uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Cloud Messaging; Google Mobile Ads for advertising and measurement after applicable consent controls; and Google Play Integrity for licensing, rights controls, security, and abuse prevention. These providers may process app interactions, diagnostics, approximate location, and device or other IDs under their own terms and our configuration. Data may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or during a business reorganization with appropriate safeguards.
Website data
The site fetches public cricket information through our server. Standard security logs may contain the requested path, time, browser details, and IP address. If you choose “Allow analytics & ads,” we store a random first-party browser identifier and process page, match, tab, advertising, and performance events. We do not send search terms, URL queries, email addresses, or precise location in web analytics. Google or a direct sponsor may provide advertising and measurement after that choice. Static site files may be stored locally by your browser for performance. Live score pages are not stored by the service worker. If you email support, we process your email address and message to answer the request.
Security, retention, and choices
Data is encrypted in transit. We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes above, security, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. On the website, choose “Privacy choices” in the footer at any time and select Essential only to stop future analytics and advertising requests from WYN Cricket. You can also clear site data in your browser. Advertising choices and consent controls may be available in the app or your Android settings. You can stop further app collection by uninstalling the app, and you can request deletion using our data deletion instructions.
Children and changes
WYN Cricket is a general-audience sports service and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the app, providers, or legal requirements change; the date above will identify the current version.
