When Radha Yadav earned her maiden India call-up for the 2018 tour of South Africa at just 17 years old , she became the first player from Gujarat’s domestic women’s team to break into the national side. A crafty left-arm spinner with sharp variations and nerves of steel, Radha has carved a niche for herself as a T20 specialist in Indian women’s cricket. Originally from Maharashtra , Radha moved to Baroda during the 2014–15 season to pursue better cricketing opportunities. She quickly climbed through the ranks, turning heads with strong performances across age-group and senior-level domestic tournaments—including the U19 West Zone tournament , the Senior Women's white-ball competitions , and the U23 West Zone ODI Cup . Her rapid rise and consistent domestic showings made her impossible to ignore. She was handed her T20I debut in 2018 , and later that year, featured in the ICC Women’s World T20 —where her ability to contain runs and break partnerships stood out.
